Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We are the creative organization responsible for all of Apple’s advertising and marketing to ensure the detailed development and execution of world‑class communications. The Operations team empowers Marcom’s creativity by ensuring efficiency, effectiveness and governance across our global organization and processes. The Business Operations team within Marcom Operations focuses on ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across day‑to‑day operational and financial management processes. Within this group, the Cross‑functional Business Operations team supports the Interactive organization, by streamlining business processes, optimizing resource allocation, and managing budgets across various Interactive cost centers. Description

This role, reporting to the Senior Manager of Cross‑functional Business Operations, provides operational oversight and support for multiple teams within the Interactive organization, including Interactive Comms, Experiences and Analytics. Responsibilities

Oversees business operations of multiple Interactive teams, in close partnership and collaboration with business leads. Responsible for driving operational priorities, oversight of the teams fiscal planning processes, budget management, resource operations and vendor management. Strategically manages budgets across cost centers, to provide insights and guidance that inform team choices. Ensures efficient and effective operations, through measurement and monitoring of success through metrics and KPIs; taking actions for continuous improvement. Partners with Corporate Procurement and business leads on contract negotiations, vendor structure discussions and supplier performance reviews. Understands and assists in continuous training of processes and process refinements between WW/Global Interactive teams and agencies. Collaborates with support functions such as Facilities and IT to ensure teams’ operational needs and requirements are taken into consideration when planning for future changes and evolution at the broader organizational level. Minimum Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in an Operations Management or Financial Analyst role within in‑house marketing communications, creative services department, or creative agency. Experience handling budget targets, implementing and leading budgeting processes and influencing budgetary priorities. Preferred Qualifications

Budget planning and financial management experience, preferably in creative organizations that specialize in multiple marketing communications touch points. Experience working in a digital/interactive creative agency, knowledge of marketing and analytics/data science. Skilled in developing methodologies and structures to manage and optimize day‑to‑day budgeting across multiple cost centers. Expertise in organizational capacity planning and management of a teams’ workforce and resources. Passionate about creating structure and processes that support the development of amazing work in a creative environment. Experience working with multiple stakeholders with ability to negotiate agreements where varying opinions are the norm. Ability to pivot communication style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders. Ability to exercise resiliency especially under stressful situations, maintaining a positive attitude and forward‑thinking approach. Stellar communicator with a clear/concise approach. Delivering guidance through effective messaging, and actively listening to check for understanding. Bachelor’s Degree or Graduate degree or certification in business administration, finance, analytics or related field is a plus. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,800 and $221,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
