About the Role As the Software Quality Assurance – Associate Director, you will provide leadership and strategic direction to multiple QA teams and departments. Your role will involve shaping the quality vision, driving process improvements, and ensuring that our software exceeds customer expectations. You will work closely with senior leaders to align QA initiatives with business goals, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Reports to the Director, Product Software Engineering, and works under the leadership of the Vice President, Product Software Engineering. Skills in managing resources and budgets effectively.
Cross‑Department Collaboration:
Strong skills in collaborating with senior leaders and other departments.
Process Improvement:
Ability to drive and implement process improvements.
Data Analysis:
Proficiency in analyzing quality data and making strategic decisions.
Executive Communication:
Strong skills in presenting quality initiatives to executive leadership.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to QA managers and senior professionals.
Develop and implement the QA strategy across multiple departments.
Align QA initiatives with overall business objectives and goals.
Drive process improvements and innovation in quality assurance.
Oversee the execution of complex testing projects and programs.
Ensure consistency in QA processes and standards across departments.
Collaborate with senior leaders to prioritize quality initiatives.
Manage resource allocation and budget for QA activities.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
Represent the QA function in executive meetings and presentations.
