Fitch Group is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack Engineer based out of our Chicago office.

Responsibilities
Work as part of an agile team in design, development, and deployment of enterprise‑scale web applications.
Build an internal portal application using React, micro‑frontend, micro‑services, and event‑driven architecture.
Develop Java micro‑services to support the frontend and produce/consume Kafka topics.
Collaborate with DevOps and other squads on the CI/CD pipeline.
Provide support on production issues and mentor the team on React and micro‑frontend developments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software engineering.
In‑depth knowledge of JavaScript, React, Node.js, and Python.
Experience with Webpack, Module Federation, and micro‑frontend development.
Experience with relational database technologies such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
Desired Skills
Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, or Elasticsearch.
Familiarity with Azure services such as Blob storage and Azure Functions.
Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and frameworks.

Compensation Expected base pay for Chicago roles: $120,000 – $130,000 per year. Actual salary will be individualized based on education, training, experience, and performance. Compensation may include commission, discretionary bonuses, long‑term incentives, and other benefits.
