Overview This position is a member of GreenSky's Merchant Fraud Strategy team, which focuses on analyzing high risk and delinquent accounts and developing strategies to maximize collections and recoveries.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a relevant analytical/quantitative role within the risk management function of a financial services organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

Identify fraud risks as well as opportunities to create strategic or tactical solutions based on predictive analytics

Provide analytical support to assess performance management, risk exposure control, early warning sign detection, profitability enhancements, and business growth initiatives

Develop predictive decisioning rules that balance risk with customer and merchant experience

Conduct quantitative analysis and analyze large volumes of data to identify emerging performance trends with minimal assistance

Partner with internal affiliates to enhance business understanding and facilitate inter‑departmental communications

Research industry trends and competitor analysis and present findings to management

Clearly and concisely communicate results of analysis both written and verbally

Develop, manage, and report on KPIs

Be the trusted internal resource by demonstrating a deep understanding in your area of ownership

Required Skills/Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science etc.

At least 3 years of experience in a relevant analytical/quantitative role within the Risk Management function of a financial services organization.

Ability to handle large datasets using SQL, R, Python or another similar programming language.

Working knowledge in Tableau or similar data visualization tools

Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities

Strong problem solving, decision making, and analytical abilities

Passionate about using data and analytics to solve problems and eager to learn about financial services and consumer lending.

Flexibility, perseverance, and ability to thrive in a rapidly-changing, fast-paced, and demanding environment

Skilled communicator with ability to influence others

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science

Experience within the Credit/Fraud Risk Strategy function of a financial services organization

Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base salary for this role ranges from $85,000 per year to $135,000 per year. Compensation will be determined by several factors, including relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus within a comprehensive total rewards package, alongside a full suite of medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, and paid personal/sick time.
