Data & Analytics Accordion's Data & Analytics (D&A) team offers cutting‑edge, intelligent solutions to a global clientele, leveraging a blend of domain knowledge, sophisticated technology tools, and deep analytics capabilities to tackle complex business challenges.

We partner with Private Equity clients and their Portfolio Companies across diverse sectors, including Retail, CPG, Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, Technology, and Logistics.

We deliver data and analytical solutions designed to streamline reporting capabilities and enhance business insights across vast and complex data sets ranging from Sales, Operations, Marketing, Pricing, Customer Strategies, and more.

This role can be based in any of our US office locations and is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days a week. Ideal candidates should be local to the desired location.

About the Role and You Lead end-to-end delivery of modern data platforms for our clients—owning scope, schedule, budget, and outcomes. You’ll run agile delivery teams, guide medallion/lakehouse architectures, and partner with clients to translate business goals into scalable solutions on Snowflake, Azure & Databricks.

What You'll Do

Own program delivery:

Drive planning, execution, risk/issue management, RAID logs, dependencies, and executive status reporting across multi-workstream data initiatives.

Lead agile teams:

Stand up and mature Scrum/Kanban ceremonies, backlog hygiene, velocity forecasting, and release management across data engineering, analytics, and platform ops.

Architectural stewardship:

Ensure adherence to

medallion

(bronze/silver/gold) patterns, data contracts, CI/CD for data, and governance/quality controls (DQ rules, lineage, observability).

Cloud & platform delivery:

Orchestrate environments, security, and cost controls for

Snowflake

and

Azure

(ADF/Fabric, Databricks, Synapse, Key Vault, Purview).

Client leadership:

Serve as the day-to-day executive contact; run steering committees, manage change requests, and drive stakeholder alignment and adoption.

Commercials & quality:

Own SOW scope, staffing, and margin; forecast and track budgets; enforce delivery standards and acceptance criteria tied to business KPIs.

Enablement:

Coach PMs and tech leads; codify playbooks/templates for repeatable delivery; contribute to proposals and pre‑sales as needed.

Travel to client sites as needed

What You’ll Bring

10+ years of technology delivery with 5+ years leading data platform or analytics programs in consulting/professional services.

Proven success managing $1M–$5M+ multi-workstream programs with distributed teams.

Hands‑on familiarity with Snowflake (warehouses, RBAC, performance/cost tuning) and Azure data services (ADF/Fabric, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS, networking & security).

Strong command of agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban), Jira/Azure DevOps, release planning, and CI/CD for data (Git‑based workflows, environments).

Practical experience implementing medallion architectures and lakehouse patterns, data modeling, and data quality/observability.

Stakeholder management at VP/C‑suite level; crisp written/oral communication and executive reporting.

Nice to have: regulated industries, FinOps for data platforms, data privacy/compliance (GDPR/CCPA), and analytics enablement (Power BI/Fabric).

Preferred requirements

BS/MS in CS, IS, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

PMP, PMI‑ACP, or SAFe; Snowflake SnowPro; Microsoft Azure (DP‑203, AZ‑305) a plus.

Programs delivered on‑time/on‑budget with measurable business outcomes (e.g., SLA improvements, cost per query reductions, faster time‑to‑insight).

Stable, secure, and cost‑efficient Snowflake/Azure platforms with clear operating models and playbooks.

High client satisfaction (CSAT/NPS) and referenceable accounts.

The annual salary for this role ranges from: $170,000 to $225,000 USD + benefits + bonus. Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
