Vice President/Broker II – Financial Services Group

This broker role is responsible for developing and implementing strategic risk management solutions for large, global clients. The position includes design, marketing, and service management of insurance programs across numerous industry sectors, and requires proven peer‑market relationships and emerging senior‑market relationships.
Location & Work Arrangement This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work virtually and from our Dallas, TX or Denver, CO office.
Responsibilities
Assess client needs, craft solutions and negotiate with insurance carriers to acquire coverage in the client’s best interests, including Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Crime, Fiduciary Liability, and Kidnap/Ransom.
Understand, analyze, and present sophisticated insurance contract concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.
Present renewal results and insurance 101 overviews to clients.
Analyze client programs and utilize underwriting and program diagnostic skills to continually improve client programs and generate opportunities.
Maintain effective working relationships with external client contacts, prospects (primarily in Treasury, Legal, or Risk Management), and internal Aon producers and account executives.
Develop and deliver effective client and prospect presentations with senior team members.
Leverage underwriter relationships to improve broking results through deep understanding of marketplace, carrier appetite, and capabilities.
Apply negotiation skills to improve broking results for clients.
Use Aon FSG claims administration and engage claims and legal advocacy group for claim administration and counsel as per protocols.
Maintain Property & Casualty license within six months of hire.
Additional Support Responsibilities
Provide efficient support to senior FSG team members and internal Aon colleagues.
Respond promptly to clients and team members.
Coordinate with other senior team members and administrative staff for workflow prioritization.
Develop and use effective relationships with administrative staff and junior team members (when approved) for delegation and resource utilization.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years in brokering, underwriting, or other relevant executive liability experience.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency Salary range for U.S. applicants: $156,000 – $195,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based on education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The position is eligible for Aon’s annual incentive plan to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
