Job Summary
Super Micro Computer is seeking a System Engineer to develop next‑gen AI/GPU platforms. The role requires hands‑on server hardware, software validation, and cross‑department collaboration to drive system development and validation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assemble and test GPU, CPU, motherboard, memory, storage, and networking components. Diagnose root causes of system failures and implement effective solutions in collaboration with engineering teams. Automate validation tests using basic scripting skills to increase testing efficiency. Benchmark, validate, and debug Linux operating system level drivers and software stack, developing test scripts as needed. Generate comprehensive test reports and communicate findings to team members. Participate in the product development cycle from concept through launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Component Managers, etc.) on assigned projects. Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in EE, CE, or ME with a minimum of 5 years of system engineering experience. Experience with scripting languages (Python, Linux Shell, etc.). In-depth knowledge of server architecture and hardware (GPU, CPU, motherboard, memory, storage, networking). Experience in system testing, validation, and performance benchmarking. Proficiency in configuring and administering Linux. Salary Range
$84,000 – $134,000 Salary depends on location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in this role. Candidates may be eligible for other compensation forms such as bonus and equity award programs. EEO Statement
