Position Summary
The Speech‑Language Pathologist conducts comprehensive assessments of in‑ and out‑patients with disorders of voice, swallowing and related disorders. The practitioner participates in patient education, plans and implements individual and group treatments, collaborates with other disciplines, facilitates a successful return to home and work environments, provides student training, and assists in interdisciplinary research.

Education
Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Job Requirements
Current license and certification as required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and ASHA; ASHA membership required.
Current CPR certification.
Experience with FEES competency.
Knowledge and Skills
Analytical ability to evaluate patients’ conditions and develop appropriate treatment programs.
Effective interpersonal skills for confidential communication with patients, families, and the health‑care team.
Excellent written and oral English communication; bilingual or multilingual skills a plus.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office).
Organizational skills to set priorities and efficiently complete assigned work.
Cultural sensitivity and comfort with a wide range of social, racial and ethnic populations.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality protocols.
Compensation Range $46.13–$56.23 per hour, plus benefits (medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, 403(b) savings match, paid time off, etc.).
