Overview Senior Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist will provide high‑risk obstetric care at CHI Health St. Elizabeth. The candidate will work with multidisciplinary teams, support a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, manage ultrasound diagnostic services, and lead research and clinical quality initiatives.
Responsibilities
Perform high‑risk consultative care, including prenatal diagnosis and treatment.
Collaborate closely with the OB‑GYN, Urogynecology, Hospitalists, Midwifery, and neonatal teams.
Provide clinical oversight for the 27‑bed Level III NICU staffed 24/7 with neonatal nurse practitioners.
Utilize an ultrasound suite with two E10 machines and Epic EMR integration.
Engage in full‑spectrum Maternal Fetal Medicine practice, including neonatal and pediatric services.
Participate in mentoring, quality improvement, and research projects.
Maintain flexible scheduling and availability for hospitalist duties when required.
Leverage an established primary care network to expand service reach in the catchment area.
Earn competitive compensation, including an income guarantee and production incentives.
Qualifications
American Board Certified OB‑GYN with BE/BC in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
Valid Nebraska medical license or ability to obtain one.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and commitment to community engagement.
