Position Details

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Call Schedule:

One weekend per month

Salary Range:

$300,000 - $4000,000+ annually

Facility:

22-bed adult-only facility (No pediatric patients)

Responsibilities:

Provide care in inpatient, PHP, and IOP settings

Perform consults and supervise mid-level providers

Engage in teaching and clinical supervision of residents and medical students as part of a

Graduate Medical Education (GME)

program

About the Role River Region Psychiatry Associates is seeking a dedicated psychiatrist to join our team in Myrtle Beach. This position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality care across diverse treatment settings, including inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). You will also provide consultative services, oversee mid-level providers, and play a key role in our GME program by teaching and supervising residents and medical students.

Our practice is expanding to include outpatient services, creating an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth and contribute to program development.

With a manageable call schedule (one weekend per month) and a competitive salary, this role provides a balance of professional challenge and personal lifestyle in the beautiful coastal city of Myrtle Beach.

Requirements

Board-certified/board-eligible in Psychiatry

Active or eligible for a South Carolina medical license

Strong interpersonal and clinical skills

Interest or experience in teaching and mentoring medical trainees
