Base pay range $37.50/hr - $56.25/hr
Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room Chicago, IL (Lakeview Neighborhood)
Full time; 7a-5:30p; 4-10 hour shifts-Mon-Fri; Call required; must be within 30 minutes of hospital to meet call
Where You Will Work The unit has 12 OR suites in the main hospital and 6 state-of-the-art operating rooms in the Outpatient Center for Advanced Care. The surgical services division also provides pre and post‑operative care focusing on the education of patients and families and providing smooth transitions between settings for the best patient outcomes. The OR performs all specialty surgeries except transplants, and offers state‑of‑the‑art equipment and services. The surgery department is staffed 24 hours during the week.
We’re Looking For
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in operating room
Ability to scrub and circulate a plus
What You’ll Do
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

The hospital is state‑of‑the‑art 397‑bed, non‑academic teaching hospital. A new tower opened Fall of 2025.
