Position Summary
The VP Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures for our cloud and AI environments. This role involves leading risk assessments, architecting robust security controls, and integrating these controls into enterprise processes. The VP Security Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure integration of cloud solutions and AI technologies and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role is crucial in safeguarding our cutting-edge technologies and driving our security initiatives forward. Responsibilities
Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud and AI environments. Conduct and lead comprehensive risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats. Design and implement advanced security controls to protect cloud and AI systems. Develop incident response training and strategies to manage cloud/AI security incidents. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure integration of cloud solutions and AI technologies. Continuously monitor security posture of cloud and AI environments and make necessary adjustments. Provide subject matter expertise in developing related security policies and procedures. Lead security awareness and training programs focused on cloud/AI security for the organization. Identify and implement innovative security solutions to address emerging threats. Oversee deployment and management of security tools and technologies. Provide regular updates and reports on security status to senior management. Supervisory Responsibilities
None Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, focusing on cloud and AI security. Proven experience leading large-scale security projects and designing security architectures from initiation to deployment. Experience supporting on-prem and cloud (Azure preferred) distributed applications, with deep understanding of high availability, performance, and security. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, IaC, containerization, orchestration, scripting, monitoring, version control, and DevOps practices. Professional certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, GCIA, OSCP, etc. are a plus. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Compensation
Base salary range: $230,000 - $250,000. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Benefits
