Job Summary The Director Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) is pivotal in orchestrating the alignment of financial, supply chain, and strategic planning within our organization. This role focuses on unifying different business functions to drive overall organizational goals and improve decision-making processes. The role ensures the business is equipped to make agile, data-backed decisions to support growth and operational efficiency. The Director, Integrated Business Planning (IBP/SIOP) executes and further develops a comprehensive planning process that collaborates across multiple departments to align operations with business goals. The Director, IBP integrates all major business functions which include sales, marketing, operations, finance, and supply chain. This role ensures that all departments are aligned with the corporate strategy, thereby optimizing business performance and achieving financial targets. The IBP Lead plays a strategic role in unifying different business units under a common goal of operational excellence which ultimately enhances the organization’s market competitiveness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and evolve the current IBP/SIOP process, identify gaps, and prioritize areas of improvement.
Work with Commercial, Supply Planning, and Finance to ensure a quality rolling 24-month estimate of future demand, corresponding supply, and financial plans are included in the SIOP cycles.
Conduct the monthly IBP/SIOP cycle to facilitate decisions around optimizing supply, demand and financial plans.
Identify business issues and risks with potential reconciliations and owners to deliver current and longer-term plans.
Ensure validation and presentation of data and analytics to facilitate decision-making.
Govern the IBP framework, tools, standards, cadence, and metrics.
Champion change to ensure adoption of the IBP/SIOP process. Educate and develop all involved functions.
Facilitate executive-level IBP meetings.
Track IBP performance metrics, monitor the effectiveness of the process and execute continuous improvement actions.
Lead IBP steering committees, review past cycles’ strengths and challenges, and propose enhancements when appropriate. Promote transparency and proactive planning.
Track IBP key conclusions and tasks and perform follow-up on the actions when necessary.
Partner closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and integration of operational planning with strategic goals.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering required
Master’s degree in preceding disciplines or MBA preferred
Work Experience
Minimum 10+ years in Supply Chain, Finance or related field preferred
Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in IBP/SIOP processes ideally in FMCG or pharmaceutical or medical device industry
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proven leadership in managing through complex planning processes and stakeholder engagement
Strong understanding of planning systems and processes, ERP platforms
Knows how to get things done both through formal channels and the informal network
Proven ability to influence teams and implement new processes effectively
Able to effectively and efficiently convey thoughts and ideas at all levels and functions
Team oriented and collaborative; able to bridge competing priorities and goals
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
Strong facilitation and communication skills
Results driven with strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and financial acumen
Comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic environment and motivated in finding solutions to business problems
Can navigate through ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances and directions
Can balance the conflicting needs of stakeholders while meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
Can communicate a compelling and inspired vision of where we want to be across various stakeholders
Knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the business, industry, and organization and in the IBP space
Possess a continuous Improvement mind-set and commitment to achieving excellence in results
License and Certifications
APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is preferred
Program and Project Management/Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI is preferred

10%: Up to 26 days
Physical and Mental Requirements
Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time
