We are the premier Pharmacy Benefits Management solution!# **Job Description****Summary**The Formulary Production Specialist utilizes the formulary operational processes and tool sets to support Formulary Administration. This position interfaces with many teams in the organization and is an advocate for the tactical direction set by Formulary Administration management. Helps to define and participates in the designs of innovative ways to deliver business and technical solutions for both commercial and part D formularies as it pertains to operational processes. Relies on experience, business applications and systems knowledge; as well as, technical skills to help recommend business solutions.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Operates the formulary solutions operational processes including Weekly Drug Update, Monthly ASCII submission files, Plan Finder source data files, creates and distributes data outputs for drug list production, client web files, JSON and SERF files

and IT data synchronization;* Effectively utilizes the assets, tools, and processes necessary to achieve business objectives by leveraging analysis, evaluation, planning and organizational skills/tools;* Assesses and communicates business risk for operational MOB, operational automation and IT technological improvements;* Continuously supports the improvement of operational efficiencies and streamlines processes by reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business processes. Uses process mapping and other workflow simplification techniques to capture and define process efficiencies;* Collaborates with external departments as needed to communicate goals, manage deliverables, and effectively address business objectives;* Interfaces daily with the Formulary Management Team to determine, document and plan solutions for operational business requirements.* Takes personal ownership and accountability by following up and following through on all deliverables; follows established department processes; demonstrates solid technical expertise to perform deliverables.* Participates in monthly print production as part of a rotation and as business needs require.**Supervisory Responsibilities**

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.**Education and/or Experience**BS/BA and 3+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience**Computer Skills**To perform this job successfully, an individual should be skilled in a majority of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Access, MS Visio, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint) and have a good understanding of databases, their architectures, database constraints, and SQL.**Certificates, Licenses, Registrations**None required**Other Skills and Abilities*** Prior experience in Information Technology is a plus.* Experience in PBM, pharmaceutical, or managed health care industry a plus.* Knowledge of application of process mapping and workflow techniques as well as all phases of systems development lifecycles and/or business process engineering methodology;* Executes and delivers within the confines and timeframes provided by regulatory agencies;* Ability to work beyond standard business hours as required by deadlines and deliverables;* Proven team player, delivery-focused, yet flexible and creative when called upon;* Thorough understanding of the definition of business requirements;* Ability to communicate positively, tactfully and effectively with multiple stakeholders including team members, management, and customers;* Well-developed facilitation and collaboration skills;* Experience and understanding of how to accomplish deliverables in a matrixed environment.**Reasoning Ability**
