Job Responsibilities
Administer safe and effective anesthesia care to patients in the operating room (OR) and ambulatory surgery center settings
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient assessments and surgical requirements
Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period and adjust anesthesia delivery as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities
Provide patient and family education regarding anesthesia procedures and postoperative care
Job Requirements
Master's degree or Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program
Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
Active or eligible for New York State RN license and CRNA certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
