Those teams are responsible for delivering and maintaining the systems that enable their Portfolio to support Expeditors' business excellence. The Team Manager is responsible for coaching and mentoring their team members, ensuring that they have the training and tools to do their jobs, and supporting their growth so that they and their teams are healthy and performing well. The Team Manager is responsible for ensuring that their teams understand expectations and how their work is tied to Portfolio performance. The Team Manager will manage any enterprise risk, provider relationships, and/or assets as required by the Portfolio Leader. Team Managers need to optimize their teams to achieve their Portfolio's desired outcomes and are biased towards execution. The Team Manager has a general understanding of logistics, their specific domain very well, how to foster DevSecOps, and how the Technology and Process Architectures work to enable Portfolio success. The Team Manager will manage a domain engineering agile team in building reuseable components based on the business systems architecture, and our solution architecture. This includes supporting our freight and shipment process-based capabilities with focus and a keen sense of urgency. Team members are in Seattle, Dallas, and Chennai. Includes but not limited to Lean, Agile, and Scaled Agile Framework principles and practices

Ensure the availability, security, and performance of Portfolio systems Deliver tangible business value through execution of a Portfolio's initiatives, programs, and projects Deliver continuous improvement across IS operational responsibilities with measurable outcomes Ensure their people understand how their work is tied to outcomes Overseeing enterprise risk management, provider relationships, and/or asset management as required by the Portfolio Leader This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position. Downtown Seattle Federal Way Lynnwood Bellevue (Factoria) Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Personal and professional alignment with Expeditors culture and ten critical success factors Proven experience as a logistics and/or technology-oriented leader (3+ years) Experienced problem solver, strong collaborator, and able to provide clarity around complex topics Experience in a technical role such as systems/data/business analysis, project management, or software engineering Assertive personality, interpersonal, action and outcome driven leadership Strong leadership, management, financial, communication, and execution capabilities Experience with DevSecOps, Lean, Agile and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Ability to actively inspire, coach, mentor and motivate Ability to promote autonomy, mastery, and purpose, through empowerment and creating leaders DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS BA/BS in Business Administration, MIS, Computer Science, or related degree preferred Global Logistics/Supply Chain business knowledge Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP Familiarity in data management tools and technologies: Azure Data Factory,Power BI,SQL Server,andTerraform Working knowledge of data lakes, data warehouses, data integration, data governance and internal developer platform (IDP) Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not transfer or sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization (such as an H-1B visa) for this opportunity. Additional Information Expected base salary: $95,000 to $180,000 May be eligible for bonus following first year of continuous employment in position.
