Join our Merchandising team as an experienced Buyer. In this role you will manage a portfolio of brands, handle product ordering, and analyze stock levels. You will serve as the business owner for your category and collaborate directly with partners to optimize assortments and drive department-wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Identify trends through thorough research and a customer‑centric mindset.
Partner with suppliers to maintain a consistent in‑stock rate for key items that meet customer demand.
Use input levers to improve the customer experience in your assigned category.
Integrate key metrics with broader business metrics to deliver optimal customer experience.
Advocate ideas across the team, acting as a resource and expert in your area of responsibility.
Employ a forward‑thinking, holistic, data‑driven approach to maximize profitability and communicate strategies with stakeholders.
Collect and analyze internal and competitor merchandise data, including knowledge of ABC categorization.
Understand customer demographics, product segmentation, key selling weeks, and seasonal demand.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
5+ years in Buying, Planning, or related Merchandising roles.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Excel for manipulating and analyzing large data sets.
Compensation:
$66,000 to $141,100 per year, depending on location and experience. Total compensation may include equity, sign‑on, and benefits.
