ASSA ABLOY is looking for an Operations Manager for our Grand Canyon Service Center in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a 100% on‑site role, reporting directly to the Service Center Manager. You will lead operations across manufacturing, quality, and distribution while ensuring a safe, aligned, and high‑performing environment for all employees.

What would you do as our Operations Manager? In this hands‑on role, you’ll use cross‑functional leadership, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to ensure customers receive high‑quality products on time. You’ll continuously look for ways to improve operational performance while supporting and developing the Production Team.
You would also:
Oversee daily production operations to ensure on‑time, on‑target delivery of customer orders
Ensure daily and weekly production goals are met; willing to step in hands‑on when needed
Support frontline supervisors by developing action plans and following through on results
Lead employee engagement and involvement activities
Manage performance and build a strong, effective team
Own production planning and optimize scheduling
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all EHS standards are met
Champion continuous improvement and LEAN manufacturing practices
Build effective relationships with cross‑functional partners
Help create and maintain a safe, positive, and respectful working environment
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
Assist with additional projects or duties as needed
The Skills and Experience you need:
High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred
5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing supervision or management
Experience with LEAN, Kaizen, and continuous improvement
Background in custom engineered, metal forming, or fabrication environments preferred
Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced setting
Experience with workforce planning and production schedulingAbility to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings is a plus
Excellent communication and computer skills
