Job Description The eLrn Technologies Manager (LEO System Manager) will manage the College of Medicine educational management system and serve as a course support individual for fourth‑year courses.

LEO System Manager

Maintain a thorough technical and functional understanding of LEO to provide administrative system support including troubleshooting, integration with other university systems, coordination of the college needs current and future system features.

Ensure all LEO features, settings, and implementations are appropriate, up to date, and meet the needs of the program.

Coordinate all activities related to implementation and support of LEO features and collaborate with relevant user groups.

Work with appropriate college officials to coordinate systems testing, training, updates, upgrades, etc.

Serve as the point of contact for faculty, staff, and students regarding LEO and instructional delivery by responding with care in a timely manner; anticipate end‑user needs, and respond proactively.

Communicate regularly with system users and act as a liaison with the campus, college and department administration and external constituents.

Work with administrators and faculty to ensure that curriculum content (including detailed curriculum content, schedules, and objectives) are appropriately reflected in LEO to meet accreditation requirements.

Collaborate with faculty and curriculum management teams to develop, implement, and maintain a centralized curriculum database, including supporting curriculum mapping and alignment processes.

Manage all processes and operational duties related to system function, including user management, security access, system modification, and problem troubleshooting.

Attend meetings, workgroup sessions, and seminars for, and in support of the project.

Serve as the primary liaison with DaVinci Education regarding problems and feature requests.

LEO Training And Support

Design, deliver, and assess LEO training programs for various audiences using appropriate media to maximize usage as well as to promote efficient use of the system; customize training programs according to college needs.

Deliver in‑person and online training and develop instructional materials and web content.

Advocate and support the use of LEO as part of curriculum delivery seeking out opportunities to enhance the learning experience with technology.

Lead educational technology projects and initiatives as they develop.

Serve as the primary information source for all LEO system users, evaluate user reports, and provide guidance and feedback to improve system use and report quality.

Clinical Phase Support, Planning, And Organization

Provide overall support and coordination in the planning, development, implementation, and administration of clinical phase courses; ensure quality assurance of course delivery and facilitate student success.

Ensure that delivery of all clinical phase courses is consistent with accreditation standards and the University and College policies and procedures.

Develop and manage preceptor scheduling systems to ensure timely placement and coordination of students across clinical sites.

Design and maintain a centralized system for tracking preceptors and clinical site affiliations, including availability, credentials, and engagement history.

Generate and analyze reports of preceptor utilization and site assignments to support program evaluation, accreditation requirements, and strategic planning.

Establish communication channels within the faculty team to facilitate information exchanges and the development of a positive working environment within the course.

Perform related duties as assigned or as required to successfully fulfill the function of the position.

Job Requirements

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Accounting, or related field.

24 months of project management or related experience.

Skills

Knowledge of instructional theories and design processes.

Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.

Strong technical, organizational and project management skills.

Strong written and oral communicational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, database concepts, and basic data analysis.

Departmental Preferences

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.

24 months experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Management of an educational technology system.

Experience in presenting instructional content in‑person and via technology.

Critical evaluation of work product and ability to improve processes.
