Job Description
Responsible for client/project development, resource management, and supervision of construction activities as they relate to contract administration and management of scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management
Receives general instructions regarding assignments and exercises initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problems
Directs and assigns specific tasks to administrative and field staff and assists in all phases of the construction project
Prepares and reviews progress estimates and final estimates throughout the construction project duration
Responsible for the overall management administration of the project and assists in establishing project‑specific objectives and policies
Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and serves as a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors
Responsible for administering the project from the pre‑construction budgeting/schedule stage through procurement, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, space turnover, and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.
Develops and maintains project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables
Coordinates with various stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations
Conducts regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety standards.
Prepares and presents project status reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key performance indicators, risks, and mitigation strategies
Manages project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence, ensuring proper record‑keeping and compliance with organizational standards
Identifies potential issues or conflicts and implements proactive solutions to minimize project delays and cost overruns
Participates in project meetings, representing the organization’s interests and facilitating effective communication among team members and stakeholders
Mentors and develops junior staff members, promoting professional growth and fostering a collaborative team environment
Qualifications Minimum Requirements
BA/BS degree plus 4 years of related experience, or AS Degree plus 6 years of related experience, or HS/GED plus 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency and/or education
Due to the projects associated with this position, US Citizenship is required
Valid US Driver’s License required to regularly drive AECOM vehicles to project sites. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with roadway or bridge construction
Experience in relevant transportation projects
FDOT Advanced MOT
CTQP Final Estimates Level II
CTQP Quality Control Manager (Attend and pass the examination)

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $95000 to $115000.
