Location and Salary East Greenbush, NY | $96,336.00 - $121,413.00
Responsibilities
Support and coordinate quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory/accreditation compliance across the facility or organization.
Serve as a key resource for promoting excellence in clinical care through data-driven quality improvement.
Qualifications
Three years’ experience in quality management or a professional clinical setting (hospital experience preferred).
Experience with group leadership and facilitation (preferred).
Lean Six Sigma or other performance improvement methodology experience (preferred).
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; RT, PT, Health Sciences or other applicable clinical health-care degree required.
CPHQ – Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality obtained within two years of employment.
Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts (preferred).
Computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
Strong clinical knowledge and basic understanding of a hospital electronic medical record (EMR).
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
High self-motivation and direction, works independently to organize and prioritize projects, departments, and committees.
Ability to execute tasks and meet deadlines while under pressure.
Works with confidential information with a knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, oral, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated excellent presentation skills using person-to-person, dashboards, PowerPoint, etc.
Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills.
Aligns work with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Strong customer service orientation.
