Warehouse & Logistics Manager – Food Manufacturing (Bilingual Preferred)
Location: 35 Union Avenue, Bridgeport, CT (On-site)
Reports To: Plant Operations Manager

Position Overview The Warehouse & Logistics Manager plays a key leadership role overseeing all warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations at Bridor’s Bridgeport facility. This role ensures the accurate and efficient flow of materials and finished goods, maintains inventory integrity in SAP ERP, and drives process improvement across all warehouse activities. You’ll lead a bilingual team, coordinate with production and quality departments, and ensure all logistics operations meet Bridor’s high standards for safety, efficiency, and food quality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and motivate a bilingual warehouse team, fostering accountability, communication, and teamwork
Manage daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal procedures
Plan labor needs, manage schedules and overtime, and support employee development
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety
Oversee inventory control and reconciliation using SAP ERP and warehouse management tools
Ensure documentation accuracy (bills of lading, shipping notices, pick lists, packing slips)
Monitor storage organization across dry, cooler, and freezer areas
Ensure adherence to GMP, OSHA, AIB, and HACCP standards
Maintain forklift certification records and equipment maintenance logs
Participate on the Food Safety Team and support audit readiness
Develop and update SOPs and drive process improvements
Track and report departmental KPIs such as order accuracy, inventory performance, and safety metrics
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
3–5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or shipping/receiving management, ideally within food manufacturing
Strong working knowledge of SAP ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS)
Excellent organizational and communication skills with proven ability to lead diverse teams
Knowledge of regulatory standards (GMP, HACCP, OSHA)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable — communication across a multilingual workforce is key to success
