Job Description Location

Role Summary : For a portfolio of Banking clients, we are recruiting a high-performance Business Development Manager to generate new market opportunities for Data and AI services, lead our go‑to‑market propositions and business development activities, and own the sales process. This person will carry a revenue target and be measured on quality of revenue and total contract value. Capgemini believes in the importance of delivery. This person will also be responsible for client deliveries and outcomes, as well as client experience.

Key Responsibilities

Be a consultative seller of Capgemini's Insights & Data services and be an ambassador of its brand promise “Get The Future You Want” for our clients; partner with our banking clients to enable accelerated digital transformation and business change, leveraging insights and data.

Be responsible for bookings, revenue and business growth in the assigned portfolio by selling innovative industry solutions that leverage data, insights, and analytics to meet the needs of Banking clients on their journey to becoming digital banking.

Proactively engage C‑level executives at client organizations, take ownership of solving their business problems and leverage cloud, data, analytics technologies; organize and lead client strategy workshops and large opportunities.

Open new logos and expand business in existing logos.

Work closely with other business development resources in Capgemini to shape larger deals and increase market share in the data and analytics space within the Banking industry.

Key Requirements

Must be a thought leader who is keen to understand client business and data challenges, and propose practical solutions.

Data and Analytics sales and delivery experience in Banking is required.

Prior experience working with hyperscalers and insights/data product partners.

Ability to win and perform in billable consulting engagement as a partner is preferred.

Ability to think big picture, design transformational changes and proactively shape deals.

Able to rapidly mobilize responses to clients and turn around proposals quickly with support of a lean team.

Some travel expected when required to sell outside of the NY Metro area; other hubs are Chicago or Atlanta.
