Hybrid working model Our client, a well-established food manufacturing company near Zion, IL, is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead key financial functions including month-end and year-end close, cost and inventory accounting, and team leadership. This is a high-impact role ideal for candidates with a strong manufacturing background and a passion for operational excellence. Lead cost accounting efforts including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Collaborate closely with operations to analyze production costs and drive efficiency improvements. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a high-performance culture. Maintain and enhance internal controls and financial reporting systems. Support external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies. Contribute to strategic financial planning and cross-functional initiatives.
