We are seeking an IT Senior Project Manager with experience working with the State of California for a government client. This is a 15-month contract role that can be performed remotely.
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications: Bachelors degree Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI At least seven (7) years of broad experience applying project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools, with a minimum of four (4) years as a senior project manager on large or complex IT projects At least five (5) years of proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams on California state IT projects, including technical staff, business staff, consultants, and stakeholders At least two (2) years of experience as a lead project manager on projects of similar size and complexity, managing all project phases Experience preparing project plans, schedules, risk and issue management plans, and budget projections in accordance with PMBOK standards Experience managing large-scale integration projects involving system development and vendor management Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project
