Position Type: Locum CRNA Anesthesia Overview A Level II Trauma Center in Jackson, MI is seeking a Board Certified CRNA to provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases. The CRNA will work a consistent 4x10 schedule with no call responsibilities, in a collaborative, hospital-based environment. Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures (adult & pediatric) Provide anesthesia for neurosurgical cases with pre- and post-procedure neurological management Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration techniques as needed Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout procedures Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision within a team-based model Maintain continuous patient monitoring across perioperative phases (pre-op, intra-op, post-op) Epic EMR Schedule: Four (4) 10-hour shifts per week; Hospital-based, Level II Trauma Center 50 surgical cases per day across multiple ORs with rotating assignments Respond to emergencies and perform airway management, including intubations Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA) Required Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience Required Four 10-hour shifts per week Credentialing timeframe: Competitive locum hourly rate Travel/mileage reimbursement or all-inclusive rates considered Collaborative hospital-based anesthesia team with strong support Jackson offers a welcoming community with a balance of urban convenience and small-town charm.
