Data Governance Engineer
to join their team! Are you passionate about clean, secure, and accessible data? Join our team as a
Data Governance Engineer
and help shape the framework that ensures our data is accurate, trusted, and compliant across the enterprise. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically curious professional with proven metadata management experience to help drive policy development, process improvements, and enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Establish data policies and procedures for compliance Coordinate data governance processes with security and legal teams Monitor external trends and define data use cases Maintain data catalog repository and data lifecycle management Assign data owners and stewards to data assets Develop and manage KPIs for board reporting Support enterprise data catalog technology Perform metadata extraction and SQL reporting Manage ticketing systems and identify risks Create infographics for complex data communication Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in information science or related field 4-6 years of experience in data governance roles Strong knowledge of Data Governance operating models Experience in Metadata Management Proficiency in SQL Server and Query Optimization Excellent communication and project management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Certifications in Data and Analytics practices Ability to create narratives from data findings Experience with change management concepts This opportunity includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package—details will be shared during later stages of the hiring process.
