Prescient Edge is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist (CSS) Level 1 The requirements listed define the Cybersecurity Specialist (CSS) responsibilities and tasking. The CSS is a newly qualified individual that is able to analyze detailed system architectural designs, requirements and functionality for Minotaur Mission System (MMS) hardware and software solutions. The CSS shall understand and be able to use the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Information Assurance (IA) practices and Cyber certification processes to plan, create, improve, maintain and test the core mission system baselines. The CSS shall support the Minotaur Chief Integration Officer (CIO), Project Managers, Team Leads and other members to accomplish the team goals. The CSS shall be able to take mentorship from more senior team members and provide guidance to leadership on policies and procedures related to cyber security and IA related topics. The CSS Level 1 shall be qualified to execute the below functions. CSS1: Analyze detailed software and hardware architectures, designs and functional requirements for aircraft, ground, surface, web and cloud mission systems. CSS2: Develop detailed system and software requirements. CSS3: Build a cyber strategy, identify risk, document solutions, resolve non-compliance, execute contingency responses and plans. CSS4: Develop strategy and execute steps to meet regulatory compliance. CSS5: Utilize tools, develop configurations and patch and STIG updates related to cyber security controls IAW DISA, DHS, and DOD compliance. CSS6: Integrate cybersecurity processes into agile development practices. CSS7: Plan, build and institute Development + Security + Operations (DevSecOps) strategic planning into mission systems. CSS8: Execute IA patching and STIG compliance on various mission system software and hardware systems. CSS9: Conduct code reviews and develop technical documentation. CSS10: Work with team members to ensure system usability, reliability, and sustainability. CSS11: Conduct frequent travel (25%) to meet Government requirements. CSS12: Obtain and Maintain at least a Secret clearance (TS-objective). CSS13: Conduct reviews and Quality Assurance (QA) of software and hardware systems. CSS14: Build visions, business relationships & goals for future endeavors. Qualifications & Requirements BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity or other suitable equivalent degree or BS/BA degree with other focus with experience and acceptable certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or other equivalent certifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
