Role Description
This on-site Associate Veterinarian position is located in Princess Anne, MD and opportunities exist for full-time, part-time or relief work. The Associate Veterinarian will provide medical, diagnostic, and surgical care to a variety of animal patients, including dogs, cats, horses, and small ruminants. Responsibilities include conducting routine check-ups, diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgeries, and communicating treatment plans to clients. Collaboration with the veterinary team to ensure consistent, high-quality care is a key aspect of the role.
Qualifications
Veterinary medical knowledge and experience in diagnosing, treating, and preventing animal illnesses General knowledge and skills in performing surgical and dental procedures Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and educate them on their pets' care Proficiency in teamwork and collaboration with other veterinary staff members Organizational and time-management skills for handling a variety of patient needs DVM or equivalent degree with a valid state veterinary license in Maryland Experience with large animals and mobile veterinary services is a plus
