Position Overview
Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions (MEIDS) is seeking experienced applications engineers who have designed and implemented automation projects with the ICONICS version 10 and 11 suites of products. As a Senior Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of major automation systems. Automation systems will include extremely large commercial building automation, process automation, and factory automation systems. In your role, you will be involved in the integration of large and diverse types of commercial and industrial equipment and sensors, as well as customer databases and IT applications. You will be contributing to the organization and analysis of monitored data, and will be designing critical graphical dashboards, reports, alerts, and workflows based on such data to improve customer operations.
For consideration, the candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience with deployment of ICONICS GENESIS v10 and/or 11 suites of products.

Key Responsibilities
Assist, consult, and implement projects for key customers.
Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on ICONICS software solutions.
Uphold the highest standards of professional integrity in all customer interactions.
Lead and support multiple projects, ensuring specifications and customer expectations are met.
Develop a strong understanding of industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
Other duties as assigned by MEIDS.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience in computer and industrial networks
Comfortable with customer facing activities
Prior achievement of, or ability to acquire Federal Security Credentials and Clearances
Experience with OPC, BACnet, Modbus, or SNMP protocols
5+ years of working with SQL Server
Knowledge of IoT technologies, protocols and concepts is a plus
Experience working within Microsoft Software and Operating Systems is a plus
Education & Experience
Bachelor's or master's Degree in an Engineering major
5+ years’ experience with deployment of ICONICS GENESIS v10 and/or 11 suites of products
Location & Travel
Position is based in Washington, DC
Initial training will be based in Foxboro, Massachusetts
Once CAC qualifications are met, work will be performed on‑site, 8 working hours per day, Monday through Friday
The post initial work period (up to 1 year) may require 5‑15% travel and may include international and weekend travel
