Expected Salary Range $131,400 to $146,000 annually, varying by experience, plus comprehensive benefits including bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position As part of the Corporate Development Team, you will assist the Manager, Director and Vice President in evaluating and executing corporate mergers, asset acquisitions and divestitures. Responsibilities include target identification, financial modeling, presentation development and transaction execution, and coordination of supporting resources, processes and deal advisors.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

Research and evaluate appropriate Corporate, Business Unit M&A and divestiture candidates that fit the corporate strategy.

Support the multi‑functional team processes for transaction execution, including evaluation and due diligence.

Carry out financial modeling and other analytics with relevant Corporate and Business Unit interdependencies.

Prepare transaction materials for Board and senior management.

Help manage the cross‑functional team and processes for divestitures, including offering memo preparation, data room development and bid evaluation and selection.

Provide support for post‑acquisition/merger integration.

Perform or support other ad‑hoc development‑related projects or analyses.

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree.

8+ years of relevant experience.

Financial experience with demonstrated project management skills.

2–3 years experience in the Energy (Electric or Gas) Industry.

Extremely strong financial modeling skills (what‑if analysis, model simplification and thorough review).

Enthusiastic attitude for getting into the details.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA.

Expertise in the mechanics of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures in the energy industry.
