AI Finance – Manager

The opportunity The AI Finance Manager is a crucial role responsible for supporting the Finance Applications Data Lead in executing the overall data management strategy for finance applications. The successful candidate will leverage their deep expertise in finance applications (planning, reporting, close/consolidation) coupled with deep skills in enterprise data management, data governance, data quality, master data management, Machine Learning, and Generative AI (Gen AI) to support key finance personas.
One of the key responsibilities will focus on developing and implementing our EY AI Finance service offering, with the goal of creating an industry agnostic data model which can be utilized as a starting point and be extended to ensure data consistency and interoperability across finance applications.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Data Lead and the Product Owner for the EY AI Finance offering to ensure that the EY AI Finance Blueprint is designed on a foundation of accurate, consistent, and reliable finance application data architecture, enabling informed decision‐making.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of complex technical initiatives, ensuring accountability for performance and results.
Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.
Drive continuous process improvement by identifying innovative solutions through research and analysis.
Support the effective management and utilization of finance application data, harnessing Machine Learning, Gen AI, and Azure data technologies to drive innovation and business value.
Lead workstream delivery, ensuring processes and solutions are managed effectively while focusing on quality and risk management.
Engage clients daily, participate in planning and execution, and identify opportunities for additional services.

Developing and maintaining documentation: data dictionaries, ERDs, data lineage maps.
Leading implementation of the FDL Blueprint solution, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Collaborating with data scientists and finance SMRs to apply Machine Learning and Gen AI techniques.
Maintaining a robust data governance framework for the FDL.
To Qualify for the Role
Bachelor’s degree with ~5 years related work experience, or graduate degree with ~4 years related work experience.
Minimum 4 years of experience in data management, with at least 1 year focused on finance application data, data modeling, and financial modeling.
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management principles.
Experience with Machine Learning techniques, Gen AI technologies, and Azure data services (Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, MS SQL, Python).
Knowledge of finance applications: PnL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow modeling.
Proficiency in data integration, transformation, and modeling tools and techniques.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Ideally, You’ll Have
Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field with relevant experience in finance data management, data modeling, and ML.
