Hospitalists Position – West Virginia University Medicine
West Virginia University Medicine is seeking multiple Hospitalists. Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices for patients.
Responsibilities
Provide 24‑hour call coverage, round on admitted patients including nursery, and support to ED by providing consultative service and admission to unassigned patients.
Provide coverage to community pediatricians as requested with appropriate notice and sign‑out.
Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care and preventive health practices for patients.
Requirements
M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent.
Completed residency in Pediatrics or Family Medicine and West Virginia Medical License eligible.
Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Pediatrics.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
