Overview
General Manager - Flooring at National Coatings. We are looking for a strategic, results-driven leader to oversee our Flooring Division. This role partners with the broader team to drive growth, quality, and a strong company image in line with our values of integrity, experience, and quality. Responsibilities And Duties
Lead and manage all aspects of the Flooring Division's operations, ensuring profitability and growth. Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with company goals and market opportunities. Oversee job site inspections before and after project completion to ensure quality and safety. Forecast financial performance weekly, monthly, and annually; manage division P&L. Resolve installation challenges promptly and effectively; communicate clearly and consistently with employees, customers, and senior management. Recruit, retain, and develop top talent; conduct goal setting and performance reviews. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Review and maintain safety documentation, DOT compliance, and safe work plans. Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and corporate leadership to ensure project success and client satisfaction; review project proposals to define timeframes, budgets, staffing, and resource allocation. Drive business development and foster strong relationships with General Contractors and clients; uphold and promote a positive company image. 7+ years of operations management experience in flooring Strong working knowledge of flooring and construction safety procedures Proven experience managing budgets and P&L Strategic problem solver with exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills Humble, transparent leader with a growth mindset and collaborative spirit Benefits
