Work Setting:
100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Required:
Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
Experience in application development using Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX, and PL/SQL (5 years);
Experience with Oracle Database development, performance tuning, and troubleshooting;
Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware components (WebLogic Server, Oracle HTTP Server);
Experience integrating applications with enterprise financial systems such as Florida PALM and FLAIR;
Experience with State of Florida accounting practices from a technical implementation perspective;
Experience ensuring PCI compliance in application development.
Preferred:
Experience with the Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) or Florida PALM;
Experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS);
Experience with Agile development methodologies;
Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines;
Experience in application and data security best practices;
Experience working in a government or public sector environment;
Oracle certifications (Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate, Oracle APEX Developer, Oracle Middleware certifications).
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle Forms and Oracle APEX financial applications;
Write, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and database packages;
Support and maintain Oracle database objects, schemas, and Fusion Middleware components;
Provide integration support for Florida PALM and FLAIR, including ETL operations for data movement and transformation;
Ensure application performance, data security, and PCI compliance;
Collaborate with technical/business teams to gather and implement requirements. Coach, mentor, and train team members; produce technical documentation and SOPs;
Attend project meetings and provide regular status updates and weekly reports
