Job Summary The Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager works with Advisors/Client Executives and Account Executives to service client accounts. The role includes managing a book of business—large lines and layered accounts—through daily account management and communication. Responsibilities include handling renewals and marketing, preparing presentation materials, and supporting team members with day‑to‑day client servicing. The Senior Account Manager actively speaks in client meetings, maintains relationships with clients and carrier contacts, and works proactively to deliver services efficiently.

Full‑time, Hybrid Schedule When working from home, a private workspace with a high‑speed internet connection is required. The employee must be present and responsive online and minimize personal interruptions during the work shift.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Maintain an assigned book of business and proactively nurture relationships with carrier and client contacts; may lead client meetings for accounts.

Manage the renewal and marketing process from start to finish in conjunction with Account Executives and Advisors.

Communicate directly with clients and carriers, collaborating with the Account Executive or Advisor/Client Executive.

Create and maintain client files in accordance with office procedures, keeping policy records in the agency management system.

Knowledge, Skills, And/or Abilities

Customer‑focused with strong relationship‑building skills.

Experience with EPIC or similar agency management systems.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Polished verbal and written communication, business‑writing skills, and ability to produce clear documentation.

Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Self‑confident decision maker capable of working independently.

Effective interaction with diverse individuals, functioning well in both team and autonomous settings.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Sharp attention to detail with strong decision‑making and problem‑resolution ability.

Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and technology.

Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet client and business deadlines.

Education And/or Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (additional training or education preferred).

Typically more than seven years of Commercial Lines and industry experience.

Ability to understand and assess policy forms and endorsements.

Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel with CRM experience; EPIC experience highly desired.

Certificates, Licenses, Registration

P&C Insurance License required upon hire.
