As a Project Controls Engineering Consultant, you will work collaboratively with clients, vendors, contractors, and other Project Farma Team Members to support projects related to biomanufacturing across the entire engineering lifecycle. You will be responsible for delivering high quality work, forming and maintaining valuable, long‑term relationships with our clients, and continually strengthening your technical and industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Produce key project controls deliverables, including detailed project schedules using MS Project, Oracle Primavera P6, or Smartsheets; feasibility estimates, risks, forecasts, and what‑if scenario analysis; project cost reports and trend analysis; comprehensive weekly and monthly project summary reports for stakeholders; critical path analysis; preparing agendas, leading meetings, tracking risk, actions, issues, decisions for the team; budget estimates.
Analyze complex project data and deliver clear, articulate, and concise messages in a compelling manner to support decision making.
Communicate with third‑party vendors on behalf of the client to drive their timelines.
Gain a general understanding of Earned Value Analysis and PO management tools.
Maintain internal site tools such as site dashboards and deliverable trackers.
Create alignment with cross‑functional client departments, including Design, Construction, Validation, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management or related discipline (or equivalent work experience in Project Controls, cGMP facility start‑up, project management and/or comparable military experience).
Minimum 5 years of scheduling and/or project controls experience.
Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 and/or Smartsheet necessary.
Willing to be on‑site full‑time as client projects require.
Willingness to travel as required to support project and business needs.
Compensation Reasonable estimate of the current range:
$50,000 - $240,000 USD
