We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our Public Accounting Firm. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned tax professional with a strong background in Partnership Returns, S‑Corps, HNW and Trusts who is looking to take the next step in their career. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring tax planning and compliance matters, ensuring our company is in line with all tax laws and regulations.
Base pay range
$145,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr Location

Manage and oversee all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting for the company. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes. Manage members of a small tax team as they prepare components of the company’s US federal income tax return and state tax returns. Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections. Manage and coordinate tax audits. Maintain tax balances on general ledger. Prepare all tax papers on a regular basis and handle all information data requests. Ensure the company is in compliance with all internal policies and relevant tax laws and regulations. Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law. Work closely with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in Taxation or a relevant field is preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role. Extensive understanding and experience with tax planning, compliance, and reporting for real estate is required. Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements. Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong understanding of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.
