Director of Finance – Full-Service Hotel

Overview: We are seeking an experienced
Director of Finance
to lead the financial operations of a full-service hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality accounting and a proven ability to manage a team in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with hotel brand standards and local regulations.
Manage and mentor a team of 3–4 accounting/finance professionals.
Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years in hotel accounting, preferably in a full-service environment.
Systems:
Familiarity with
M3
and/or
ProfitSword
is highly preferred.
Education:
4-year college degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ideal).
Certification:
CHAE preferred but not required.
Brand Experience:
Background with major brands such as
Westin, Marriott, Starwood, Hyatt , or similar.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Location Requirement:
Candidates should reside in or near the
Greater Chicago Area .
Compensation:
$140,000-150,000 base salary
Up to 35% target bonus
Excellent benefits, 401k, PTO etc.
