Eldor Automotive Powertrain USA is searching for an experienced

Preventative Maintenance

( PM ) Technician

to join our team at the production facility located in Daleville, producing Ignition systems for the US Automotive Market. We are seeking candidates who share a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism; excellent communication skills, hardworking, careful and earnest, good team cooperation spirit; and willing to accept a flexible workload. This position will include participation in a rotating weekend "On-Call" schedule, which covers any off-shift maintenance emergencies. The

PM Technician

will join our Maintenance Department, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

The

PM Technician

is responsible for the preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance for all automated machines in the plant including our resin plant.

The position has the following responsibilities: Perform regular preventive and predictive maintenance on machines and equipment. Perform emergency repair on the production and plastics automation equipment as needed. Have strong skill for failures root cause investigation, modifications, improvements, and troubleshooting. Understand spare parts management and acquire the proper spare parts in the event of a breakdown repair or planned maintenance work. Correctly complete the recording of all machine breakdowns and troubleshooting activities. Perform simple machinist duties and fabrication. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Other duties as assigned.

Education Required: High school (GED) or technical school 2 years’ related experience and/or training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience Required: Previous or current Line Tech at Eldor Automotive USA OR minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance role with automation equipment, in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Knowledge/Skills: Have a good understanding of machine mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical drawings & design. Experience in mechanical and pneumatic improvements and modifications. Ability to operate milling machine, lathe, grinding machine and additional mechanical workshop equipment. Experienced in using a variety of hand and power tools, material handling equipment, and test equipment in performing duties. Capable of using multiple types of mechanical measurement devices General troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset
