Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington is seeking two PRN BE/BC Neurohospitalists to join a growing inpatient team dedicated to serving the needs of patients with acute neurological disease. We are a leading certified Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Practice Highlights
PRN position with flexible shifts
Supportive team of neuro‑trained advanced providers, clinical nurse specialists, stroke coordination and dedicated care management
Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
Complete neuroscience institute within the Virginia Mason system
Personalized patient care with 1:1 nursing support for acute stroke patients
Growing ambulatory, inpatient, tele‑neurology and tele‑stroke program serving as the hub to two hospitals in the region
Nurse‑driven code stroke process and rapid response
Opportunity to practice many facets of Neurology including stroke, MS, Parkinson’s, ALS, seizure disorders, brain and spinal cord tumors, movement disorders and migraine management
Physician involvement in Virginia Mason’s leading process improvement work

Job Requirements
BE/BC in Neurology
Able to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA
Able to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
BLS required
