Audio Visual Technician
San Francisco, CA – Pay range: $52–$63 per hour.
About the Job
On‑site as needed in local Instacart Office.
Plan, design, and execute full‑life cycle, end‑to‑end, strategic meetings, high‑touch conferences, and virtual events based on compliance guidelines, ensuring appropriate resources are utilized.
Coordinate and produce onsite, virtual, and hybrid meetings, including research and selection of appropriate streaming platforms and technology implementation.
Participate in daily operations meetings and weekly reviews with management and the AV team; support and coordinate logistics of on‑site and remote corporate live events.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure meetings are successful, follow the run of show, and maintain high client satisfaction.
Triage incoming event requests and document timely responses to stakeholders in Jira.
Perform preventive maintenance: conduct daily sweeps of AV spaces to ensure rooms have full functionality.
Assist executive staff with setting up required technology, confirm presentations display correctly, ensure audio is functioning, and otherwise run technology for meetings as needed.
About You
2+ years relevant experience in corporate live events and customer service.
Proven experience planning large‑scale events with the ability to plan effectively and handle the unexpected.
Self‑starter with meticulous attention to detail and follow‑through.
Strong team‑building and people skills with the ability to develop professional relationships with staff and external partners through ongoing communication.
Expertise in Google Suite and virtual meeting tools such as Zoom and Google Meet; familiarity with event registration software (Bizzabo a plus), web‑based platforms, and audiovisual equipment.
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and manage multiple projects successfully.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
