Job Summary The Sales and Training Executive, reporting to the Regional Sales Director, is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
They will build positive brand awareness with retail partners in assigned territories by executing retailer programs, launches, event strategy, and freelance management for Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare (DDG) and Drunk Elephant.
What You Will Do
Drive sales and execute strategies within each retailer to achieve the sales plan.
Maintain a cohesive monthly schedule that aligns with territory volume, call cycle, top volume door focus, and business needs, incorporating MAPPP™ methodology into door governance.
Plan, schedule, and execute events in key opportunity doors using event strategy and assets to drive incremental sales and brand awareness.
Build strong relationships with store management, regional/district managers, event managers, education managers, and retail associates across Ulta, Sephora and other locations.
Meet all deadlines for requests including calendars, expenses, and event recaps; understand and adhere to retail partner protocols.
Recruit, hire, inspire, schedule, develop, and retain productive freelance team members; ensure achievement of “sales per hour” and “items per transaction” goals.
Monitor and assess weekly SPH/ROI for freelance teams to achieve brand targets and adjust strategies.
Strategically manage freelance budgeting, scheduling, and productivity to drive incremental sales.
Make strategic T&E budget decisions and ensure overall compliance.
Ensure stores are properly merchandised for maximum visual exposure according to Merchandising guidelines (MAPPP™) for Drunk Elephant and DDG.
Focus on raising brand rank and seeking competitive information to gain market share.
Provide feedback to education/events teams regarding the effectiveness of DDG and Drunk Elephant strategies, training, selling tools, and products.
Monitor and communicate stock concerns to retail partners and internal planners to prevent out‑of‑stock incidents.
Act as the brand ambassador, maintaining strong knowledge of the Brand DNA, product heritage, and promoting DDG and Drunk Elephant positively.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships across multiple teams.
Be self‑motivated, positive, and aligned with the organization’s vision.
Work a flexible schedule (typical work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday) including weekends and holidays to meet objectives.
Drive a car to perform visits to all doors in the call cycle of the defined territory (Valid Driver’s License Required).
Who You Are
3‑5 years of equivalent experience in the cosmetic, aesthetic, or beauty industry.
Passion for the beauty industry, sales, and clients.
Proven ability to drive sales, meet or exceed goals, and provide excellent customer service.
Ability to assess, analyze, and identify business trends.
Experience in successful budget management.
Demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, and develop a team.
Excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge to build positive partnerships.
Collaborative mindset in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
Excellent verbal, non‑verbal, and written communication skills, including solid presentation abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other analytical tools.
Willingness to travel up to 50% and possess a valid driver’s license.
Comfortable with various travel methods (car, plane, train, etc.).
Able to lift
Hold a valid driver’s license.

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job‑specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package, including participation in a bonus program.
