Senior Software Engineer I — EST Preferred - Hybrid in Horsham, PA Join LexisNexis as a Senior Software Engineer I. This role focuses on designing, developing, and delivering complex software solutions across multiple systems while mentoring junior developers.

Base Pay Range $84,900 – $141,600 per year

About The Role Perform complex research, design, and software development assignments. Provide input to project plans and schedules, mentor junior team members, and translate user requests into functional solutions.

Conditions Of Employment

U.S. citizenship required.

Background investigation with Public Trust security clearance.

Must be located near Horsham, PA for a hybrid onsite schedule.

Requirements

Software Engineering Experience: Proven track record in software development.

Educational Background: BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Development Methodologies: Advanced knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices.

Architectural Design: Ability to translate designs into development plans, including API and microservice implementation.

Programming Languages: Expertise in .Net, C#, Python, JavaScript, SQL/NoSQL.

Azure Cloud Technologies: Strong experience with Azure Functions, App Services, Cognitive Search, Blob/Table Storage, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, and API Management.

Development Best Practices: Proficiency in version control, TDD, CI/CD, Clean Code principles, code review, performance testing, observability, telemetry, monitoring, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Team Collaboration: Ability to interface with other technical personnel to finalize requirements.

Mentorship: Experience mentoring junior developers.

Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Azure US Gov Cloud.

Additional Skills

Machine Learning and AI: Considered a plus.

Responsibilities

Interface with technical personnel to finalize requirements.

Write and review detailed specifications for complex system components.

Complete complex bug fixes.

Collaborate closely with development team to translate product requirements into software designs.

Implement development processes, coding best practices, and conduct code reviews.

Operate in Agile development environments with stakeholder collaboration.

Resolve complex technical issues as needed.
