Position Summary The Test Center Coordinator is responsible for entrance, placement, and proficiency testing administration and coordination, ensuring an efficiently run center that meets the College’s requirements to support compliance and customer service standards.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Administer entrance and proficiency tests for all programs, including Accuplacer and TEAS, and record results.
Daily announcement to the team outlining next‑day testing locations, times, and participants.
Order and maintain TEAS test inventory.
Coordinate testing schedule with admissions and faculty and ensure backup personnel as needed.
Coordinate testing room set‑up.
Provide data entry of testing results and generate reports reflecting testing results and trends using Banner, Excel, and other software.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications / Competencies Required
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
College admission testing experience helpful.
Exceptional customer service and problem‑solving skills required.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and comfort with learning new systems.
Experience with Banner or other related student information systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, identify and report on trends, maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and build strong relationships with students, faculty, and associates in all departments.
Ability to meet multiple demands in a fast‑paced environment.
Compensation Stipend of $867.00 per month (flat amount). The compensation is a good faith estimate of the base pay for this position and may vary based on experience and qualifications. Full compensation details will be provided during the interview process.
