Position Summary Bridge Brothers is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of custom bridge construction projects from kickoff through completion. This is a hands‑on leadership role that requires strong civil construction experience, the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, and the confidence to manage field operations, budgets, schedules, and client relationships.

The ideal candidate thrives in the field, can handle tough conversations with vendors and crews, and brings the leadership skills to mentor and train junior team members, including supporting the development of Taylor and Johnny.

Key Responsibilities – Project Leadership & Execution

Oversee bridge projects from planning to closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation

Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents to ensure project accuracy

Manage and coordinate site activities including civil work, foundations, and structural assembly

Conduct site visits to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project milestones

Key Responsibilities – Team & Stakeholder Management

Lead and supervise field crews and subcontractors, ensuring safety and productivity

Serve as a mentor and trainer for junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices

Communicate effectively with internal teams (engineering, fabrication, shipping, quality control) and external partners (vendors, contractors, and clients)

Handle on-site challenges and scope changes with professionalism and clarity

Key Responsibilities – Documentation & Reporting

Track project progress against budgets, schedules, and key milestones

Maintain accurate records including RFIs, submittals, change orders, daily logs, and photo documentation

Provide regular updates to leadership and clients regarding progress, issues, and deliverables

Support project closeout, including punch lists, as-built documentation, and client handoff

Qualifications

5+ years of project management experience in civil or structural construction (bridge experience a plus)

Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to handle direct conversations professionally

Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and multi‑phase project schedules

Familiarity with construction project management tools (Procore or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite

OSHA certification preferred; valid driver’s license required

Role Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full‑Time (occasional weekends as needed)

Employment Type: Exempt, Salaried

Location: Pickens, SC with travel to job sites

Compensation: Competitive and open, based on experience

Benefits: Eligible after 90 days (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, and paid holidays)

Equipment: Company vehicle and phone provided for travel
