Software Engineer Level 1 - Poly Clearance Required
We are seeking a Software Engineer Level 1 to join Praxis Engineering’s wireless network products and tools team. In this role you will design, develop, enhance, verify, and release high‑quality user interfaces for critical national mission applications.
Key Responsibilities
Use Git‑based distributed version control.
Participate in Agile‑based project development.
Analyze operational and platform integration requirements to derive functional and quality requirements.
Debug software and system defects at low level.
Design and implement solutions within the Flutter framework.
Develop C++ and Python back‑end components.
Design and consume back‑end APIs.
Write or review software and system documentation.
Implement test‑driven methodologies and execute test procedures.
Communicate effectively with engineers, stakeholders, and customers.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience; at least seven years as a Software Engineer with 2+ years in UI development, preferably in Flutter/Dart.
Four additional years of software engineering experience on similar projects may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
Familiarity with Wi‑Fi standards and protocols, commercial Wi‑Fi cards, DSP, and software‑defined radios is a plus.
Security Clearance Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role.
Compensation $101,996.00 – $219,107.00 (Annually)*
