Seasonal locum position for a Gastroenterology physician in Norfolk, NE.
Responsibilities
7‑day coverage with outpatient clinic 3–4 days per week
Clinic volume 10–20 patients per day; hospital census up to 5 patients per day
Hospital setting with outpatient clinic
Leave coverage
ERCP, EUS, colon biopsy, upper and lower endoscopy required
ED call 0–2 callbacks per day
Hospital maintains small provider pool for continuity
Qualifications
Active or board‑eligible gastroenterology credential
ERCP/EUS proficiency
Upper/lower endoscopy experience
ED call experience preferred
MD or DO
