Interventional Cardiologist
Heart Care Centers of Illinois (HCCI) has been established for over 50 years in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago. The private practice comprises 29 board‑certified cardiovascular physicians who provide a complete spectrum of advanced cardiovascular care across 10 hospitals and 6 surrounding offices. Job Highlights Heart Care Centers of Illinois sees over 100,000 patients annually, offers in‑office diagnostic testing and a full line of complex outpatient arterial and venous interventions in our outpatient vascular lab. Advanced services include Heart Transplant/Artificial Heart, TAVR, Advanced CHF, Pulmonary Hypertension, Venous Insufficiency, Severe Hypertension, and Lipids.
Full‑time Interventional Cardiologist with a focus on coronary and core procedures; opportunities for structural and peripheral procedures are available for those with interest and training.
Collegial work environment that includes 31 cardiologists (16 IC, 5 EP, 2 HF, 8 NI), 8 APPs, and over 200 support staff members.
Monday‑Friday schedule.
Call responsibilities shared equally with 16 other physicians.
Position offers a base salary with additional bonuses and incentives.
Additional equity & partnership opportunities available.
Interventional Services
All coronary procedures, diagnostic and interventional.
Peripheral upper/lower, venous, carotid, and aneurysm procedures.
ASD/PFO closure.
Structural interventions including TAVR, percutaneous mitral valve repair, percutaneous tricuspid valve repair, and left atrial appendage occlusion.
Qualifications
B/C in Cardiovascular Medicine and B/C or B/E in Interventional Cardiology.
Coronary procedures required; interest and training in peripheral procedures is a plus.
Completion of a U.S. accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology program.
Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
