Position Details Haywood Regional Medical Center, a Duke LifePoint facility, is seeking an additional Behavior Health Nurse Practitioner. We have a 33 bed inpatient unit . Our units accommodate both Adult and Geriatric patients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a great multidisciplinary team that puts the patient first. Join an experienced PA, NP and Psychiatrist who are willing to provide mentorship. We are seeking an NP to work on our inpatient behavioral health units and provide behavior health and medical management. Expectations for this position include the following: rounding daily on follow-up patients on both the Adult and Geriatric units; performing medical H&P's on adult and geriatric patients and offering basic medical consultation on admitted behavioral health patients; and to be available when necessary for infrequent behavioral health consults on the medical floor and in the ED.
